Making the most out of a day with a fever.

Car Jumping Track

Today didn't turn out the way we planned

Today was supposed to be our Son's birthday party, some thirty or so kids rocking a party at the park, replete with pirate swords and eye patches.

101.2 fever later, and plans change. So we postpone the party but we were super fortunate to have a friend drop off a birthday package. I can't tell you the joy it brings me to see my boy play with the track construction, try out a combination, then adapt the track again and again.

Along the way, we talked about momentum and inertia, how to get the car to do sick jumps, and in a break from the norm, we drove the car back around the track.

Maker days come in all shapes and sizes.
